Mark Twain once said that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worst thing that is going to happen to you all day long.
My “frog” is my biggest, most important task, the one I’m most likely to procrastinate on if I don’t do something about it. It is also the one task that can have the greatest positive impact on my day, week, year, maybe my professional life.
I wake up every day and tackle work for a few hours before I go in the office in the morning because I want to attack the days problems fresh. Each hour in the morning is worth two hours in the afternoon- so I get an extra 4 hours a day before I even get to my desk. I learned this from owning my own business for 23 + years and it still pays off today.
Bon Appetit my friends!
